Monique Hernandez
Monique is a serial entrepreneur with a proven history of creating successful companies and high performance sales teams that deliver results. In 1994, as an early pioneer in developing Talent Management solutions, she co-founded CareerNET®, one of the Internet’s first successful public career boards. Today, Careernet.com works with various partners to connect over 25 million business professionals and organizations, as well as providing a complete suite of Talent Management solutions to companies of all sizes.
Monique is also the co-founder of HRsmart Inc., which has grown to be one of the web’s premier providers of Talent Management solutions. HRsmart’s award-winning enterprise-level solutions are used today by over 1 million users and numerous corporations around the globe.
Prior to her entrepreneurial ventures, Monique was Vice President of New Business Development at Citibank, where she managed new acquisitions. Monique was also a senior manager with Paging Network, Inc. — at that time, the largest and fastest growing paging company in the world.
Monique received her education in Business Administration from Florida International University in Miami, Florida.
Yvonne Bieling
Yvonne has been with CareerNET since 1994 and brings extensive operational experience to the CareerNET team. She has played a key management role in the development of Careernet.com — one of the Internet’s first successful public career boards, as well as being instrumental in the creation of HRsmart Inc., a global provider of Talent Management solutions.
Yvonne has excelled in a variety of positions that have included client relationship management, business operations and project management. She has over 14 years of experience in managing Fortune 1000 accounts. She currently oversees day-to-day operations and heads all project management.
Prior to joining the company, Yvonne spent several years in both the banking sector with Citibank and wireless sector with PageNet, where she earned several awards for delivering excellence in customer service and account management.
Yvonne received her education from Santa Fe College where she studied Business Administration and Management Information Systems.
Merry Green
Merry coordinates research and marketing strategies at CareerNET and has been a team member since September 2006. Merry began her career in Human Resources working at PRIMEDIA Consumer Magazines, then at Young and Rubicam Advertising in New York.
Since relocating to Florida in 2002, Merry has worked for Family Health Centers, a non-profit community health organization as well as EXPO Design Center, a Home Dept Company. Merry’s Human Resources knowledge encompasses recruitment, performance management, employee relations, benefits and compensation.
Merry graduated from the University of Connecticut where she graduated cum laude in Political Science. While attending university, she interned with the governor and studied abroad in London, England. Merry participated in the Greater Fort Myers, Florida Emerging Leaders Program and is an active participant in the Society for Human Resources Management.
Douglas Woodworth
Douglas joined CareerNET in 2003 and brings a unique level of experience in the Executive Search field to CareerNET. He has a strong understanding of the human resource challenges facing companies today. Douglas has specialized in senior-level talent acquisition in the Financial Services, Managed Services, Human Resources, and the Energy sector. He excels at building strong relationships and creating lasting partnerships with clients and has an expertise in networking with professionals and preparing candidates for the interview process.
Prior to joining CareerNET, Douglas successfully managed retail and restaurant businesses with annual sales exceeding 5 million dollars. Doug brings practical managerial experience to CareerNET including operations, purchasing, human resources and client relations.
Douglas graduated from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management.
Sal Hernandez
Sal brings a unique blend of technical and managerial experience to CareerNET.
Prior to joining CareerNET, Sal served as a Senior Consultant to JARI-Research Corporation, a biotech company dedicated to developing targeted agents for the treatment of cancer. As a consultant for JARI-Research, Sal oversaw key domestic and overseas operations, the recruitment of scientific and medical talent, and the development of overseas research facilities.
Before JARI-Research, Sal was a Vice President for Seisint Inc., an information technology company specializing in developing supercomputer technology and Risk Management solutions. Seisint was subsequently acquired in late 2004 by LexisNexis for $775M. After the acquisition by LexisNexis, Sal remained as a Vice President and was instrumental in developing advanced information-sharing technologies and solutions for federal, state and local law enforcement agencies. Today, versions of these products are in use by the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice and various state agencies.
Prior to joining LexisNexis, Sal served with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for over 15 years as a Special Agent. During his career, he managed or served with several field units responsible for conducting domestic and overseas investigations of violent crimes committed against the U.S. or its citizens. These highly sensitive investigations included terrorism, cybercrime, and espionage and required extensive domestic and overseas travel to over 15 countries. Sal also served as a senior FBI technical advisor on terrorism and bombing matters and maintained a Top Secret Security Clearance.
Sal received his Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Sal has received numerous commendations and awards, most notably the U.S. Attorney’s Outstanding Federal Law Enforcement Officer award.
